Try flexAssistant AI free for 30 days: experience worker assistance at your own workplace
The best way to find out what digital worker guidance looks like in practice is to try it out for yourself. SOMA is now offering a free trial version of the flexAssistant AI worker assistance system. For 30 days, anyone interested can view simple assembly steps, create their own steps and familiarise themselves with the basic functions. At no cost and with no obligation.
Why digital work guidance?
Manual production remains indispensable in many companies. At the same time, product variety and quality requirements are on the rise, whilst there is a shortage of experienced skilled workers in many places. Digital work guidance comes into its own precisely here: it guides employees step by step through assembly and inspection processes and documents every stage of the work.
Before such a system is introduced, there are usually unanswered questions. Will staff be able to use it? How time-consuming is it to set up? Can your own processes be mapped? The free trial provides the answers within your own business, at a workstation of your choice.
What the trial access includes
In the trial environment, you can view simple assembly steps and create your own. This allows you to familiarise yourself with the basic functions of flexAssistant AI and gain an initial impression of how the system works. Discover what flexAssistant AI can do in day-to-day manufacturing.
Digital work instructions instead of paper
flexAssistant AI replaces paper folders and printouts with digital step-by-step instructions featuring images and videos. Every work step is documented, making production paperless. Guided workflows and Poka-Yoke principles reduce the error rate.
In the test environment, you’ll first extend an existing sequence by adding a step of your own. You can then create a completely new sequence, for example for one of your own products.
AI-supported and adaptive worker guidance
Adaptive worker guidance tailors the instructions to the individual at the workstation. A new colleague receives more support, whilst an experienced fitter works through the process more quickly. In addition, the AI analyses workflows and answers questions directly at the assembly station via a knowledge chatbot. This is particularly helpful when training new staff.
Gamification
Through gamification, the system rewards learning progress and quality in a playful way. Anyone familiarising themselves with new processes or carrying out assembly neatly and without errors can see their progress directly at the workstation. This makes learning achievements visible and keeps motivation high, even during repetitive tasks.
HealthCare
The HealthCare module looks after health at the assembly workstation. It prompts short micro-breaks and displays suitable exercise videos that counteract repetitive strain in everyday working life.
Configuration in the browser
Processes are set up in the browser via webGUI and flexGUI, and dashboards are put together in a modular way. The interface is multilingual and therefore also suitable for international teams.
Configuration rather than programming
No IT or programming knowledge is required for the demo. This also applies to subsequent use: workflows are configured via parameters, not programmed. No specialised hardware is required either. A standard PC is sufficient, though a touch panel is also an option.
flexAssistant AI is hardware-independent and can be used across all sectors. Anyone wishing to integrate the system with existing IT environments such as SAP, in order to map documentation and traceability digitally end-to-end, can coordinate this individually with SOMA during the trial.
How the free trial works
- Sign up: Fill in the form on the registration page. Following a brief review by the SOMA team, your login details will be sent to you by email.
